Converge Challenge introduces a new partner - TalentSpark

Converge Challenge is delighted to give a warm welcome to our newest partner to the ‘Converge Family’ – TalentSpark, powered by Eden Scott.

TalentSpark was formed in 2015 in response to the growing entrepreneurial ecosystem within Scotland. In the last two years they have supported a number of Scotland’s most exciting start-ups including Pick Protection and ShotScope, both of whom are Converge Challenge Alumni. They have advised on the right board appointments and advisors, the right levels of candidates to pitch for and helped source the best talent available.

Olga Kozlova, Director of Converge Challenge commented:

“As Converge Challenge continues to grow, it is a great pleasure to introduce our new collaboration with TalentSpark. This partnership will offer Converge Challenge participants a real opportunity to build strong teams, addressing one of the biggest challenges for start-up companies. Getting the team right from the outset is vital to attracting staff at later stages of the journey and securing the essential investment.”

TalentSpark will provide guidance on employer brands, how they are inexorably linked to company culture and values and how they should be used to attract the right talent for a business. They will also advise on the latest tools and approaches used in candidate attraction. Digital marketing has disrupted the recruitment industry as much as it has others and TalentSpark can offer creative solutions in terms of finding the right candidates.

Their team of experts have many years’ experience delivering recruitment services so will advise on the practicalities of the interview process. From Assessment Centres and Psychometric Testing to Competency Based Interviews and Group Exercises, they will make sure recruitment processes reflect the businesses that past, present and future Converge Challenge participants are creating.

Michelle Lownie, Director of TalentSpark said:

“TalentSpark is delighted to be supporting the Converge Challenge programme. Our focus is to offer support and advice for start-ups and small businesses to find the vital talent they need to grow. TalentSpark know there are various aspects to building a successful business but they passionately believe that people are the life blood of any business. Creating a company that attracts and retains the very best talent takes time and dedication but if you have an inspiring culture and a long term strategy your business will be on track to thrive and prosper."
