    The quest to find the next generation of entrepreneurs from Scotland’s thriving academic entrepreneur community is underway once again. Converge Challenge alumni launched the 2017 programme at the University of St Andrews challenging every Scottish university to uncover the next big idea.

  • Converge Challenge Awards Ceremony 2017

    Converge Challenge announced our 2017 Converge Challenge, KickStart and Social Enterprise winners at our annual awards ceremony on Thursday 28th September 2017 at the Glasgow Science Centre, Glasgow.

  • Converge Challenge Alumni Awarded Over £115,000 by Scottish EDGE

    On December 15th the Scottish EDGE awarded £1.3 million to Scotland’s most promising start-up businesses. Out of the 40 winners eight Converge Challenge alumni were awarded a total of £115,000 in grants and loans on the day.

  • Scotland's Social Enterprise Strategy 2016-2026

    The Scottish Government has just published a ten-year, national social enterprise strategy, which sets out our shared ambitions for social enterprise in Scotland, jointly developed with the sector. It provides a framework for action over the next decade.

  • Christmas - kindness in giving

    Converge Challenge has been supporting www.lendwithcare.org entrepreneurs in developing countries since December 2014 in lieu of sending Christmas cards - an ethical gift.
