In 2015 The Converge Challenge is introducing a brand NEW award called the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award.

Every year Converge Challenge sees highly inventive and driven university staff and students that join the gruelling 4 months process. We would like to honour one of our budding entrepreneurs who might not have had the chance to develop a project to the stage that it merits one of our prizes. So the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award recognises the outstanding men and women who demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit in Scotland. We're looking for totally driven, focused and determined to succeed individuals. University entrepreneurs can have a real impact on society and we wish to celebrate them.

Characteristics of Entrepreneurial Spirit (what the judges are looking for):

A university founder with knowledge, creativity, and rigor.

Attributes of traditional entrepreneurs, such as the ability to recognise business opportunities and create value for the customer, and the willingness to take risks.

Does this sound like you?
