The Gift that Keeps on Giving - lendwithcare.org

Converge Challenge's chosen lendwithcare.org recipients from December 2014 are doing well enough to pay back on the loan they received.

Great news!

Converge Challenge's chosen lendwithcare.org recipients from December 2014 are doing well enough to pay back on the loan they received. Converge Challenge supported two projects:

Tionge Women's Group (Tionge Women's Group needed over £1,266 to begin their project. We helped complete the fundraising for the group which is based in the Nyimba district of Eastern Zambia. This meant they could begin to develop their business and better support their families)

Muhammad Shahid (Muhammad's business loan was at 0% so Converge decided to kickstart the funding for his video gaming shop. Muhammad is 23 years old and lives in the area of Kahna Nou in Lahor, with his two brothers and one sister. He and his elder brother are the earning members in the house).

We believe reinvesting in a business is critical to any company that wants to grow and so Converge Challenge has now re invested in Mrs. Dinh Thi Binh who is 29 years old. Her family members are her husband, her 2-year-old child and her husband's parents. They live in Village Ca. Her family earns a living by growing corn in 1 hectare of land, rice in 2000m2 and chayote in 500m2. The products are sold to merchants. She would like to buy 10 breeding pigs, 2 sows and mash. The pig waste will be used to fertilize the plants. Mrs. Binh hopes that the extra profits from breeding will help her take better care of her child and parents.

lendwithcare.org is a revolutionary way to help people throughout the developing world transform their future. Set up by one of the world's leading aid and development organisations, lendwithcare.org enables families to find their own route out of poverty. And it allows others to have a direct impact on their lives.
